We leave for Sunny San Diego by Feb 10 and have 20 days to get there and report. Looking forward to new and different again.
This blog is about the Life and Times of our Retired Navy Family. We have been typical Navy Family, trying to make wonderful memories and meet life's challenges through moves, deployments, and making do. Now we are on to new adventures and trying to settle in one place and grow some roots. We learn new things, make new friends and make it up as we go along, hoping and praying for the best.

It's Officially Official
We FINALLY have our marching orders, and they didn't somehow change to Guam while we were waiting. Not that we don't love our friends there, we just don't want to live there again. Now I can do small things like.... setting up our move. Getting on the housing waiting list. Requesting medical records. Notifying the school. You know, small stuff like that.

So glad that you have orders and that wait is over. We're going to miss you but a new chapter is always exciting. If you need help preparing, give a shout!
Now the fun really begins! Congrats on having orders in hand (for what you wanted/expected, no less!), and best of luck with all the upcoming changes.
I love san diego. it is one of my favorite plcaes in the world :) and you are only an hour and a half away from us!
Good luck on your move!
YEAH the orders! Let's get the primary kids pen-paling before you leave...they brought it up again yesterday.
