This blog is about the Life and Times of our Retired Navy Family. We have been typical Navy Family, trying to make wonderful memories and meet life's challenges through moves, deployments, and making do. Now we are on to new adventures and trying to settle in one place and grow some roots. We learn new things, make new friends and make it up as we go along, hoping and praying for the best.

Welcome Baby Joseph
Our newest family member, Joseph Taylor, joined us on Wed. Feb 8 at 8:00 pm. He weighed in at 7 lbs 6.6 oz and 21 inches long. He has the best honey colored blonde hair ever and has been the best baby. As predicted, he was a few weeks early, but he did very well in the hospital and they let us go a little ahead of schedule, thank heavens. There is little sleep with a new baby and even less sleep in a hospital setting. His big sister and brother think he's just about the best thing EVER and Meg especially wants to pick him up about 12 times an hour. We are looking forward to visits from Grandma's and other family over the next few weeks. We are thrilled he's here safely and our family is complete.

Oh, he's just beautiful! Your lucky he came a couple of weeks early. If he hadn't, he would have been some big baby. :)
WOw, that hair is amazing I just want to run my fingers through it. Very Cute. And you look amazing too. Hope you are feeling amazing too. Thanks for keeping us posted. More later...
What a cutie! Congratulations! I am so happy for you! Was he born on the 12th or (I'm guessing) maybe the 8th?
He was born the 8th. Wow, I didn't even catch that typo. My brain has been a little scattered... He's a sweet baby and has been fairly easy so far. We are in love.
Beautiful!!!
He is perfect. I think he looks a lot like Adam. No?
