Happy 20th Anniversary

For our 20th Anniversary, Justin had big plans. For weeks he schemed and planned and practiced with the kids to pull off a big surprise. First, we had dinner at the most exclusive and private restaurant in town.

The menu was carefully planned with choices of Chicken Parmigiana,  Top Sirloin Steak, or Spaghetti with bread. We had a choice of vegetables and baked or roasted potatoes to go with the entre. There were stuffed mushrooms or chips and salsa for appetizers and choices of ice cream with toppings for dessert. (We ordered chocolate ice cream, as you can probably tell by the waiters white shirt.)

We had music just for us and after dinner had the dance floor all to ourselves. No small children were allowed in this establishment for at least 2 hours, so he arranged a babysitter for our smallest darling. We had two of the cutest waiters ever. They were very attentive and careful and thrilled to finally let me in on the big secret.

After dinner we exchanged gifts. Justin had also been working hard on this beautiful hand carved vase and carried on the tradition of a rose that will last forever. This one is platinum dipped. It's very sweet. The vase is amazing.

20 years ago we were mere teenagers starting out on a grand adventure. We have made it through some hard times and across some rocky roads. We have also had the most amazing adventures and the best laughs anyone has ever had. We never expected to be where we are today with our little family. I can't wait to see what the next 20 years bring. Happy Anniversary!

20 years. I remember when I was first married and I would hear people say they were married 20 years and I thought "man they are old" well, just for the record I don't think that now. Just 20 is just a drop in the bucket! Congrats! What a fun night!
